Waiting for a real spring

Spring has arrived, but it is very different from the past. 4/17/2020, this was my first time to go out after the COVID-19 virus began to spread in New York. I just planned to walk around the house. I live in Staten Island. According to current government statistics, Staten Island accounted for 7% of the city ’s diagnosed population, and the population here only accounts for 5.7% of the city ’s total population. The weather was very good and there were basically no people on the road. Compared with other places in New York, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens were more quiet. Every day we see all kinds of news about the epidemic, and we staying at home are also extremely afraid of the infection rate of this virus. When I walked to a block, a driver was waiting for a traffic light. He saw that I was shooting ,and expressed interest in photography. He wanted me to take a picture of him, and I agreed. He happily gestured and hoped that I could send him the photo. I dare not be close, so we talked across the road.We do not know when to start normal social activities and learning, but we can only stay at home now to ensure our safety.
